Project Co’s Collaboration with Ginger Ray Transforms Wedding Dreams for Hospital Patients

In a remarkable demonstration of community spirit and collaboration, Project Co has partnered with Ginger Ray to bring joy and fulfilment to patients across nine hospitals within the Infrared portfolio. This heartwarming initiative was spearheaded by Brooke from Vercity who leveraged her philanthropy skills to secure a generous donation of wedding box items from Ginger Ray, a well-known brand in event and wedding decor.

The story begins at Peterborough Hospital, where two nurses first recognised the profound impact that fulfilling a wedding dream could have on terminally ill patients. Brooke heard about this and reached out to Ginger Ray, sharing her vision of bringing joy to patients with limited time left to organise their dream weddings. Ginger Ray, moved by the cause, enthusiastically agreed to collaborate, and provided the wedding box items completely free of charge.

The response from Ginger Ray was overwhelmingly positive. “We were thrilled to come on board and support such a meaningful initiative. It’s an honour to contribute to making lifelong dreams come true for these patients,” said Harriet Harrison from Ginger Ray.

The donated wedding box items include beautifully designed decor, cake toppers, photo frames, and accessories that add a special touch to wedding celebrations. This initiative ensures that patients who have always dreamed of getting married but face time constraints due to their health conditions can now experience their special day with elegance and style.

The impact of this collaboration is profound. Patients who might not have had the opportunity to plan and execute their wedding now have access to the resources they need to celebrate their love in a memorable way. The joy and fulfilment this brings to patients and their families are immeasurable, providing them with cherished memories during difficult times.

The benefits of this collaboration extend beyond the patients. For Ginger Ray, this partnership offers an opportunity to give back to the community and support the NHS, enhancing their reputation as a socially responsible brand. For Project Co this initiative significantly boosts their social responsibility contributions and market status, showcasing their commitment to enhancing patient well-being through innovative and compassionate collaborations with well-known brands.

This success story is a testament to the power of collaboration and the impact that thoughtful, community-focused initiatives can have. By working together, Project Co and Ginger Ray have created a program that not only brings joy to patients but also strengthens the bonds between healthcare providers, businesses, and the communities they serve.

Project Co is immensely proud of this collaboration and looks forward to continuing to find innovative ways to support patients and their families. The success of this initiative sets a precedent for the remaining hospitals under Infrared, and we are excited to see the positive ripple effects of this compassionate endeavour.
