Chief Digital Officer appointed

We are delighted to welcome James Turnbull as our new Chief Digital Officer.

CEO, Richard Hoare, said “It’s great that James has joined us. He shares our excitement about the future we are creating at Vercity. His arrival demonstrates that we’re serious about how we improve our use of data, technology and digital platforms to solve the challenges that our clients and communities face – which is a central theme to our strategy. James brings with him a proven track record of spearheading Digital Transformation initiatives within various PLCs or investor-owned organisations that needed to unlock their digital capabilities and potential. Amongst other impactful leadership roles, he has closely collaborated with large frontline engineering teams, equipping them with user-friendly award-winning apps to streamline internal operations and enhance connectivity, he has enabled AI and Machine Learning to be utilised at scale and, more recently, James has been advising a number of investors to on specific digital and technology challenges within their portfolio companies.

When asked about his new role, James said “I am thrilled to join Vercity and accelerate our digital agenda. I see immense potential in leveraging our hardware, software, and data to enhance the efficiency and client experience through every facet of our business. Together, I am confident we can create innovative solutions that will differentiate Vercity when it comes to all things digital and tech.”
