Accessibility statement for Vercity
We want everyone who visits the Vercity website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.
What are we doing?
To help us make the Vercity website a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Vercity website.
How are we doing?
We’re working hard to achieve our goal of Level AA accessibility, but we realise there are some areas that still need improving. The following information explains what we’re doing to make that happen.
1.2.2, 1.2.4: Captions
Some legacy video content does not have captions, this will be considered for future productions.
1.2.3, 1.2.5: Audio Description or Media Alternative
Some legacy video content does not have audio description, this will be considered for future productions.
1.4.2: Audio Control
A couple of videos cannot be paused, but are purely decorative.
2.4.2: Page Titled
Some older/legacy PDFs are not accessible and will be updated in the near future.
3.1.1: Language of Page
Some older/legacy PDFs are not accessible and will be updated in the near future.
