Derek Sharkey

He brings nearly 30 years of extensive experience in the construction/investment industry, 25 years of which have focused on Public-Private projects. His impressive portfolio includes approximately 100 such projects, where he has excelled in various roles such as Chief Executive, Portfolio Director, Bid Director, Technical Advisor and Due Diligence Consultant, among others.

Derek joins us after nine years with WSP, where he held various senior strategic growth positions, including the Investment Services business and broader Strategic Advisory to, more latterly, the across a 1,100 Planning, Property & Advisory business. Before then, he was a Director at Sweett Investment Services, where he provided expertise in consortium assembly, bid management, SPV management, and technical advisory services across multiple sectors including health, education, and infrastructure.

Derek brings energy, experience, and proven expertise to our Senior Leadership Team. Combined with our strong pipeline of exciting opportunities, his arrival will enhance our relationships with key clients and help propel our continued innovation and growth.
